Mary Fowler scored in Manchester City’s commanding 4-0 win over Courtney Nevin's Leicester City, capping off a stellar performance with a clinical second-half strike.
The dynamic forward played the full 90 minutes, while Alanna Kennedy made an impact off the bench in the 60th minute.
It was Fowler's fourth consecutive start for City, as they achieved their eighth straight home win in all competitions.
Cooney-Cross leads Arsenal's charge
Kyra Cooney-Cross played a key role in Arsenal's 4-0 victory over Aston Villa, assisting Alessia Russo’s opener with a pinpoint pass.
"We've been practising set-pieces a lot in training, and it worked well," Cooney-Cross said post-game.
"It was good to get some minutes in the international break and obviously bringing that to Arsenal.
"It made it a lot easier, and I felt good out there."
Cooney-Cross started alongside compatriots Steph Catley and Caitlin Foord, who also contributed to the Gunners’ dominant display.
The win continues Arsenal's impressive form, with their Matildas trio pivotal to their success.
Foord was also presented with her October Player of the Month award before the game.
Gorry steals the show
Katrina Gorry delivered a Player of the Match performance as West Ham mounted a remarkable comeback to defeat Crystal Palace 5-2.
Returning from injury, Gorry took charge in midfield, scoring one goal and assisting another as the Hammers overturned a two-goal deficit.
Her influence was critical in a match with significant relegation implications, showcasing her class and leadership on the pitch.

Joe Montemurro rested Ellie Carpenter as Lyon secured a comfortable 3-0 win over Reims in the French first tier.
The reigning champions remain unbeaten and extended their lead at the top of the table as Paris FC held PSG to a 1-1 draw.
With Lyon dominating Europe and domestically, Carpenter’s return will further bolster an already formidable squad as they aim for more silverware this season.
Lyon’s cautious approach in managing Carpenter’s workload reflects her importance to the team’s ambitions in the league and UEFA Women’s Champions League.
