Brisbane-based writer Adam Cattell joined our team in November 2023, interested in focusing on stories outside the mainstream and spotlighting the game at a grassroots level. As a writer in the Australian football scene, he has interviewed figures such as Max Rushden, Scott McDonald, Warren Moon, and Brisbane Roar star Jay O’Shea. Adam also commentates on Queensland's National Premier League competition for FQTV. He originally hails from northeast England, having moved to Queensland in 2014. For his considerable sins, he is also a supporter of English lower-league side Darlington FC. Adam's work has appeared in many online publications and the UK magazine When Saturday Comes. Away from his freelance media work, he is a full-time teacher for Education Queensland.
