Stama steals the show

Apostolos Stamatelopoulos delivered a jaw-dropping performance for Motherwell in their thrilling 4-3 win over Ryan Strain's Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.

The forward played 82 minutes, scoring two goals in the first half, before assisting the decisive fourth goal in the 67th minute and being announced the Player of the Match.

"I did fancy him to score today. In the last few weeks, we've seen flashes of it," Motherwell assistant Stephen Frail said post-game, praising Stamatelopoulos.

"We've seen today, his work rate, his effort, the way he manipulates his body to put defenders under pressure."

Meanwhile, Strain picked up an assist in a full 90 minutes for Dundee.

Motherwell are now fourth in the Scottish Premiership, one point above Dundee United.

Aussie DNA in India

Jamie Maclaren, Jason Cummings, and Dimitri Petratos were instrumental in Mohun Bagan's thrilling 3-2 victory over Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League.

Maclaren opened the scoring early, showcasing his true poacher instinct to put his side ahead.

Petratos continued his creative streak, delivering a pinpoint assist for Cummings, who found the back of the net in the 86th minute after coming off the bench.

The Aussie trio's contributions have been pivotal for Mohun Bagan, who remain at the top of the league table, highlighting their chemistry and impact in a strong Asian league.

Maclaren has now scored four goals across eight starts for Mohun Bagan this season, leading the line well for the Super Giants.
