Victorian-based writer Caydn Foley joined our team in January 2023 and has mainly focused his content on the A-League Men, usually in the form of opinion pieces or listicles. A significant highlight of Caydn’s time at FPF so far was his unique opinion piece about Australian football’s need for government funding, structured as an open letter to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese. Caydn covered Melbourne City throughout the 2022/23 season through his A-Leagues accreditation. He also covered the Matildas and the matches at Melbourne Rectangular Stadium throughout the FIFA Women’s World Cup. Caydn is currently completing a Bachelor of Arts at Swinburne University.
